As we dive into Week 15 & the first round of the playoffs, a lot of teams look different due to Covid & Injuries. This matchup is one of them, making this a very interesting one to say the least. Starting with Hooked On A Thielen, they are on pace to lose their two best WR, Lockett and Thielen. Adam Thielen (ankle) missed Week 14 against the Steelers, and since he’s dealing with a high-ankle sprain, he looks to be on the wrong side of “questionable” for Week 15. The Vikings haven’t released a practice report this week, so we don’t know for sure what will happen here. We’re probably just going to have to play it by ear later in the week, but we don’t expect Thielen to play against the Bears. Lockett on the other hand, is most likely out to do Covid-19 for week 15. MVS is expected to get the start if these players can’t go. Austin Eckler left Week 14’s contest early with an ankle injury and was limited in practice on Tuesday, but he is fully expected to suit up against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15. However, it was stated that Eckler could potentially be on limited snaps tonight. The star running back picked up 55 rushing yards with six receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown in a Week 3 victory against the Chiefs. Viagra Bowl has 4 players Questionable: M.Gordon, E.Mitchell, T.Higgins, & T.Mclaurin, however all are expected to play this week. General Manger Joe has an open flex spot, currently with Tyler Higbee in the lineup. Zach Ertz vs. Detroit or AJ Dillon vs. Baltimore are both possible alternative options. Viagra Bowl has the more complete roster in this one, as Elijiah Mitchell versus Atlanta is my favorite matchup in this one. With Hooked On A Thielen’s 12-2 record, with only losses to Waddle Waddle & Two Girls One Kupp, he is the favorit -3.5. In Previous Matchups, these two faced off in Week 14; with Hooked On A Thielen winning 136-106.

Another intriguing matchup is between the ODH West Division winner Buffone’s Minions, who 7-7 record snuck them in the playoffs, and Double Kupp, the #1 wildcard. The last time these two played was in week 5, where Double Kupp took the victory in a 109-102 matchup. Looking at Qb’s, Double Kupp has the advantage with Prescott vs. NYG, versus Wilson vs. LAR. Cooper Kupp is a question mark this week, as General Manger Neary is praying the 14 Covid Cases in LA right now doesn’t effect Kupp. However if Kupp does play, he will be the center piece to this Double Kupp offense. He’s far and away the most productive fantasy WR this season and he’s seeing a truly ridiculous workload this year. Through 14 games, Kupp has now seen 151 targets on the year and that is good enough for first place by 20 targets. He’s going to come close to breaking the 2,000-yard barrier this year and he could easily cross over 15 touchdowns. Kupp has the potential to go nuclear again here against the Seahawks secondary. Davante Adams is top-3 WR play this week for Buffone’s Minions, as there is plenty of upside against the Ravens defense that’s allowing 21.2 fantasy points per game to the position. Buffone’s Minions also will count on Deebo Samuel & Dallas Goedert who have been good all year for them. The Running Backs are where both are weak. With Rex Burkhead Out this week, Double Trouble currently doesn’t have RB2. Lets not forget that Derrick Henry was the best pick of the draft for DK, but without him is going to be a struggle in these tough playoffs. I’d lean the team with the better roster in a close margin.

This is the only matchup where the two teams haven’t played each other in the regular season. If the two played each other every game in the regular season, My Ball Zach Ertz would have won 9 out of 14 times, as the team was the highest scoring offense in 2021. No Romo has already entered the playoffs with a setback, as DeAndre Hopkins is out for the remainder of the regular season. Not to overhype any team, but My Ball Zach Ertz lineup when healthy is fucking insane. However, Darrell Henderson is expected to miss this week with covid, but does have a chance to play this week. Expect K.Gainwell to have a starting job if Henderson can’t go. Herbert & Allen will get the first shot to put points on the board, in there Thursday matchup versus Kansas City. Harris & Diggs are set up for big games as well. Metcalf on the other hand is interesting. Did you know that Metcalf had scored 8 receiving touchdowns through the first eight weeks of the 2021 NFL season? Do you know how many receiving touchdowns Metcalf now has through 14 weeks? He still has just eight receiving touchdowns due to the fact that his production has taken an absolute nosedive since Seattle came off of their bye in Week 9. Over the past five weeks, Metcalf has yet to top 10 Half PPR points in any contest and he has not cracked the top-30 WRs in those games. In a matchup against the Rams, who should have Jalen Ramsey back and active for this contest, Metcalf can be viewed as a low-end WR2. However, with Lockett now on the COVID list and is likely out for this matchup, Metcalf moves up in rankings due to volume increased. No Romo has an interesting lineup, with James Robinson & C.Patterson leading the way. Patterson has been No Romo sleeper pick, as he’s outscored players like Ezekiel Elliott, Aaron Jones, & Antonio Gibson. After the firing of Urban Meyer in Jacksonville, expect more volume from Robinson. No Romo is certainly a underdog in this fight, however they have beaten teams like Team Scrivo & Viagra Bowl, so don’t sleep on them.

This is the true comeback story matchup. Team Scrivo & Team Brad were two of the WORST teams in 2020, finishing 18th& 19th last season. This season has been nothing shy of impressive, as Team Scrivo has been dominating all year, and Team Brad has confidently been in the playoff hunt all season. However, noticeable injuries have surfaced for both teams. Lamar Jackson (ankle) did not practice this week, and since the Ravens signed Josh Johnson from the Jets’ practice squad, it seems he’s in real danger of missing the game against Green Bay. Offensive coordinator said as much on Thursday when revealed Jackson’s status “could go down to the wire.” Teddy Bridgewater will get the start if he’s not ready to go. On Team Brad, both Darren Waller and Kareem Hunt will be out this week. However, Team Brad does have backup TE for LV Foster Moreau, who is expected to get the start. Team Scrivo success is driven by his outstanding pick of Jonathan Taylor, the best FF player this year. In this week, the Patriots aren’t the easiest matchup for running backs, but Taylor is basically matchup-proof. The Bills were thought to have a top run defense, and Taylor trampled Buffalo for 185 rushing yards and four touchdowns in Week 11. Taylor then ran for 85 yards and a touchdown the following week against a very good Buccaneers run defense. Team Scrivo WR’s Godwin & Lamb will also be a key contributor to this offense. Team Brad will have his Kansas City trio of Mahomes, Hill & Kelce all go on Thursday versus the LA Chargers. Sony Michel will also have increased volume with Henderson Jr. expected to miss this week. In two regular season matchups this year, Team Scrivo & Team Brad are 1-1 against each other.
